Product launches and presentations
During 6 weeks, from April 7th to April 30th, 2015, Eventsandco organized the Volkswagen AG International Press presentation for Gold Alltrack 4×4, Golf GTD Variant and Golf R Variant. The car press launch took place in Málaga, Spain and it consisted on back-to-back groups totaling 700 journalists from all around the world.
The launch was carried out by 70 multilingual staff professionals.
Since the three car models launched are so diverse, different communication, test drives and leisure activities were organized. Málaga´s international airport was used as the Volkswagen welcome area. And Vincci Posada del Patio, a luxurious 5 star hotel, was contracted as the main accommodation venue for the journalists. Several vehicles were displayed in the outdoor public hotel area.
The press launch and the dinner that followed took place at the prestigious one Michelin star restaurant: Jose Carlos García. Located in the spectacular and renovated port of Málaga, this restaurant is a multi-functional and cutting edge venue.
Finally, several breath-taking scenic driving routes through the mountains surrounding Málaga were designed in order to test the three vehicles. And the nearby Ascari circuit, located in beautiful Ronda, was rented to serve the daily lunches and to test drive the Golf R and Golf Alltrack Variant.
